The Presentation follows, what is hoped, a
logical progression. It starts with an explanation of what is meant by digital
amateur radio communications; who is it useful to; and how it is provided by
Winlink.
Next follows an introduction to the main physical components that make up the
Winlink system, including:
1. The “Central Mail Box Office” and how the system comes together at
this central point;
2. “Participating Mail Box Offices” is about the land-based (or sometimes
yacht-based) Winlink radio relay stations; and
3. It then describes how communications are channeled from the sender to the
addressee via these "e-Offices."
The presentation concludes with a few pages that describe other facets of the
Winlink system.
