Restrictions that apply to Winlink operations
In accordance with amateur radio regulations, messages:
- may not cover business or commercial transactions
- may not include profanity or vulgarity
- hams may not have a monetary gain
In accordance with Winlink ethics:
- messages should be brief and attachments short and simple
- wait for a clear station before transmitting
- each user is allowed 30 minutes connect time per 24 hours
- PACTOR III is preferred as a courtesy to other users but older versions
are supported
